Our Staff
Executive Director
Evan is a person in long-term recovery from a substance use and co-occuring mood disorder. Evan brings years of experience in both the recovery community and the legislative process to his role as the founding Executive Director of FOR Utah. As the primary lobbyist for the organization, Evan is a constant presence at the Utah State Capitol, ensuring the voice of recovery is at the table where decisions are made. He is passionately committed to translating the power of lived and living experience into effective public policy. Evan currently serves as the Chair of the Salt Lake County Behavioral Health Advisory Council and, in 2024, was appointed by Governor Spencer Cox as a member of the Utah Behavioral Health Commission
